On behalf of the organizing committee, I warmly welcome you to participate the 17^th United Conference on Millimetre Waves and Terahertz Technologies (UCMMT2024), which will be held in Palermo, Italy on 21- 24 August, 2024.
The organizing committee has been doing our best to create a good opportunity for our distinguished

 paper contributors and speakers to exchange their research progresses in the area of millimeter waves, and THz sources, devices, systems and applications.

The 17^th United Conference on Millimetre Waves and Terahertz Technologies (UCMMT2024) is hosted by University of Palermo, technical sponsored by IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society, Electron Devices Society, and Antennas and Propagation society. UCMMT was created in 2008 to stimulate and strengthen scientific collaboration, knowledge and cultural exchange. The workshops are held yearly, alternating between Europe and China.

UCMMT is a unique conference, where leading scientists from Europe and China share their knowledge in the field of millimeter waves, and THz sources, devices, systems and applications.

The UCMMT2024 has prepared comprehensive technical programs including high-quality keynote, technical sessions, and interesting social activities.

Palermo, located in the heart of the Mediterranean sea and blessed with stunning natural landscapes, offers a combination of historical and cultural heritage. The Royal Palace or the Norman Palace of Palermo, with the gorgeous Palatin Chapel, will be the prestigious venue for the Opening Ceremony.
The Chiaramonte Steri Palace, the seat of the Rectorate of the University of Palermo, with its fascinating history, will be the iconic venue for the Closing Ceremony
